The Green Transition Ecosystem programme

Transforming Homes is one of four Green Transition Ecosystem (GTE), funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), through Future Observatory: Design the Green Transition Programme. The four projects are integral to UK Research and Innovation’s strategic portfolio of £800 million per year in green investments aimed at developing solutions to achieve Net Zero targets.

The GTE programme is dedicated to translating design-led research into real-world benefits. By harnessing clusters of excellence, these ecosystems address critical challenges posed by the climate emergency.
